The
conference is open to youth 10 years of age and older and their adult
sponsors, and will feature national speakers who will
focus on leadership skills and motivation, with emphasis
on Confidence, Optimism,
Integrity, Trust, Respect, Opportunity and Self-Esteem.
Speakers will include:

Brady Beran - Now a
college student at UNL, Brady suffered a tragic
football injury while a student at East High School
that left him at death's door. He tells an amazing
story of recovery and rehabilitation. His message is
one of hope, endurance, determination,
accountability, focus and persistence.

Aaron Davis
- A graduate of UNL and a member of
the 1994 National Championship Football team, Aaron
is known as the "Enthusiator." Students will walk
away from his presentation knowing the things they
must know and avoid in order to have success in
school and in life.

Josh Shipp - A young
man in his 20's that has written books, toured with
Bill Cosby and hosted a reality TV show, Josh is an
inspiring speaker with a simple and entertaining yet
challenging message. He was abandoned and abused as
a child and overcame this tragedy to encourage
everyone to overcome struggles and live life to the
fullest. He has been called "The Dr. Phil of Teens."
He brings tips about goal setting, capitalizing on
your strengths and other relevant topics.

Doug McCallum
- Known as "The Trainer," Doug's
workshops and seminars teach how training and
teaching styles affect learning and retention,
improving communication and putting pizzazz in
presentations. His ideas and techniques can be
quickly adopted and easily implemented.

Matt Glowacki
- Matt was born without legs, but became
an Eagle Scout and earned a position on the USA
Paralympics team for Sit-Volleyball. He brings a
message about utilizing the gifts that you have to
the fullest and to be a productive individual.

Dan Breeding
- A professional animal trainer
educator, Dan's presentation explains the unique and creative way
that he blends exotic animals with the truth of
creation and the life-saving truth of the Gospel.

Paul Dadboud
- On Sunday morning, Paul's
presentation will involve humor, passion,
authenticity and relevance. He utilizes media, pop
culture and humor as vehicles when communicating
with teenagers. He brings them into an encounter
with God that is bigger than life, but closer to
their problems than they knew before.
The leadership skills will help to
instill the self-confidence needed to become leaders now
and in the years to come. Youth will learn they are in
CONTROL of themselves and their future.
Another aim of the conference will be
self-imaging, managing time, setting goals, serving
others, meeting challenges and overcoming adversity.
A special service project for the
conference will be Kids Against
Hunger. KAH is committed to serving hungry
children and their families all over the world by
packaging and shipping highly nutritious, life-saving
meals. KAH is able to do this by mobilizing the energy
and caring of American children, teens and adults on
behalf of hungry children. The goal is for the youth to
prepare 100,000 meals for Kids Against Hunger which will
be distributed in Kearney, Lincoln and throughout
the distribution network. With their energetic hands,
our youth will make a difference for the children of
Nebraska and the world!
