The Masonic All-Star Marching Band Camp is a one-week camp held in conjunction with the Nebraska Shrine Bowl on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Nebraska Blue Lodges, Eastern Star Chapters, Shrine Clubs, Scottish and York Rite Bodies, individuals and companies sponsor high school band students from all over the state to attend this first-rate marching band camp.
WHAT IS THE MASONIC ALL-STAR MARCHING BAND?
• A five-day band clinic hosted by the Grand Lodge of Nebraska
• The band plays in the Shrine Parade in Lincoln and performs during half-time at the Annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl Classic football game at Memorial Stadium
• Scholarships for the band clinic are available from many Masonic Organizations such as Masonic Lodges, Eastern Star Chapters, Scottish Rite, York Rite or Shrine Clubs
WHAT IS THE MASONIC ALL-STAR MARCHING BAND?
• Talented Nebraska High School band students in their Freshman through Junior years with experience in at least one marching band instrument
WHAT IS THE MASONIC ALL-STAR MARCHING BAND?
• Notices and registrations forms are available from High School Band Directors in January each year
• A student must be recommended or approved by their High School Band Director

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE MaSONIC ALL-STAR BAND CLINIC?
• Students practice two to three times a day under the direction of professional band directors
• Planned evening social activities such as a dance, pool party, pizza party, movie, etc.
• An opportunity to meet new friends and renew old acquaintances
• Twenty-four-hour adult supervision is provided
where does all OF this happen?
• Student rooms and meals will be in a UNL residence hall – adult supervision at all times
• Marching practices are held on the field at Memorial Stadium
• Indoor practices are held in UNL facilities
• Planned social activities may be held on campus or at another location – transportation is provided if off campus
WHEN DOES ALL OF THIS HAPPEN?
• Students check in to the residence hall on Tuesday, May 29, 2012
• Practices start the first evening, and continue each day through Friday afternoon
• Saturday, June 2, 2012 is the culmination of all their efforts – in the morning, the band leads the Shrine Parade – in the afternoon, the band performs during half-time at the Shrine Bowl Game
